IE’s Steve Maffei recently had a white paper published in the Human Capital Institute’s research library, “The Long Term Consequences of Organizational Myopia”. The paper utilizes the US auto industry as the backdrop for describing the adverse effects of a short term focus and a disengaged workforce on an organization It can be downloaded here.
